Day to day
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA.
Welcome to Tanzania! You will be picked up from the airport by a Natural Serenity representative and driven to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will hopefully have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime!

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
After a delicious breakfast, your friendly Natural Serenity guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your drive to Tarangire National Park. The trip takes about two and a half to three hours on smooth, tarmac roads. The park gets its name from the Tarangire River that flows right through it, which translates locally to the "river of warthogs." During the dry season, this river becomes the only source of water in the entire region, turning it into a busy meeting place where thousands of animals gather to drink.
Tarangire is world-famous for its massive, loving elephant families that you can easily spot playing and resting safely by the river banks. As you explore the open landscapes, you will also see tall giraffes, pretty bushbucks, and hartebeests, which are closely followed by powerful predators like lions and leopards hiding nearby. If you enjoy bird watching, this park is a true paradise because it has more nesting bird species than any other place on Earth! You will also be amazed by the giant, ancient baobab trees that look like they are growing upside down, with some living for more than a thousand years. After a wonderful picnic lunch surrounded by nature and an exciting day of exploring, your guide will drive you to your comfortable hotel in Karatu to relax for the evening.

DAY 3: KARATU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
After a hot breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler hills of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you will stop at a beautiful viewpoint to look down at the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The view from the top of this massive volcanic bowl is absolutely spectacular! After taking photos, you will continue your journey through the conservation area and enter the world-famous Serengeti National Park from the south side.
The Serengeti is an incredible place, famous for its huge, flat grasslands that stretch out as far as the eye can see. Because the landscape is so open, it is very easy to spot the millions of wild animals that live here. The park is most famous for the Great Migration, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. During this spectacular event, giant herds of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes travel together in a continuous circle looking for fresh green grass. This migration happens every single month of the year; you just need an expert guide who knows exactly where to find them!
During your adventure, you will stop to enjoy a tasty picnic lunch right in the middle of the park. In the evening, you will arrive at your Luxury Tented Camp in Central Serengeti, where you will enjoy a hot dinner and sleep comfortably under the stars surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

DAY4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
Waking up in the Serengeti is pure magic. You can lie in your comfortable bed and listen to the beautiful songs of wild birds and the peaceful sounds of nature outside your tent. It is the absolute perfect way to start your safari day!
Today, you will spend the entire day exploring the Central Serengeti, also known as Seronera. This area is the true heart of the park and one of the best places in all of Africa to see wildlife at any time of the year. Many animals live here permanently because there is always plenty of water, meaning you will easily see large groups of hippos splashing in the rivers, tall giraffes, elephants, zebras, and antelopes roaming across the grass.
This region is also world-famous for its high population of big cats. You will have an excellent chance to spot proud lions lounging on rocky kopjes, elusive leopards resting in sausage trees, and fast cheetahs hunting across the open plains. The landscape here is beautiful and diverse, featuring flat grasslands that stretch to the horizon, lush palm trees, and pretty acacia forests. You will also visit the famous Retima Hippo Pool, a special spot where hundreds of hippos gather to huddle, play, and make noise together in the water.

Day 5 Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After a delicious breakfast, you will leave the Serengeti plains and drive toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This incredible place was formed around three million years ago when a giant volcano, which scientists believe was once larger than Mount Kilimanjaro, exploded and collapsed in on itself. Today, it forms a massive bowl that stretches 19 kilometers across and is protected by steep volcanic walls. It looks like a beautiful, hidden world from the past, filled with flat grasslands, green acacia forests, quiet swamps, and shiny lakes.
The drive down the steep crater walls is a thrilling adventure. As soon as you reach the bottom, you will find yourself surrounded by one of the highest numbers of large mammals anywhere on the African continent. Over 30,000 animals live safely inside this natural sanctuary, including thousands of zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles. This unique place is also your absolute best opportunity to see the rare and endangered Black Rhino grazing peacefully in the open grass.
You will spend an exciting afternoon exploring the crater floor and tracking down the famous Big Five animals. You will also enjoy a lovely picnic lunch right inside the crater surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After a full, unforgettable day of watching wildlife, your guide will drive you up the crater walls and take you to your comfortable accommodation in Karatu to enjoy a hot dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 6 Lake Manyara National Park
This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is the final beautiful stop on your luxury safari adventure! As soon as you enter the park, you will find yourself driving through a magical, bright green forest. This unique forest stays lush all year round because it is filled with fresh water coming from underground, which helps giant mahogany trees and massive fig trees grow tall and strong.
As you explore the changing landscapes of open grass plains, deep forests, and cliffs, you will see large families of playful baboons, tall giraffes, zebras, and elephants walking through the trees. This park is also home to a large, shallow saltwater lake that hosts thousands of bright pink flamingos and 500 other colorful bird species. If you look closely at the branches of the acacia trees, you might even spot Manyara's world-famous tree-climbing lions resting high up in the shade!
You will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature inside the park. After your final morning safari, your guide will drive you back. You can choose exactly where you want to be dropped off, such as Arusha Town to continue your holiday, Arusha Airport for local flights, or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
