Day to day
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA.
Welcome to Tanzania! You will be picked up from the airport by a Natural Serenity representative and driven to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will hopefully have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
After a delicious breakfast, your friendly Natural Serenity guide will pick you up from your hotel. This morning, you will drive to the beautiful Tarangire National Park. The drive takes about two and a half hours to three hours on smooth, tarmac roads.
The park gets its name from the Tarangire River that flows right through it. In local language, it means the "river of warthogs." During the dry season, this river is the only source of water, so thousands of animals come here to drink!
Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant families. You will love watching them gather safely by the water. As you look around, you can also spot Tall giraffes eating leaves, Beautiful bushbucks and hartebeests (types of African antelope), and if nature allows you will also see Powerful predators like lions and leopards hiding nearby.
If you love birds, you are in the perfect place! Tarangire has more nesting bird species than anywhere else on Earth. You will also see giant, ancient baobab trees. These amazing trees look like they are growing upside down, and some have been alive for over a thousand years!
You will enjoy a tasty lunch at a scenic picnic spot inside the park. After an exciting day of spotting wildlife, your guide will drive you to your luxury hotel in Karatu to relax for the evening.

DAY 3: KARATU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
After a hot breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler hills of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you will stop to look down at the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The view from the top is beautiful! After that, you will drive through the area to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, entering from the south side.
The Serengeti is an incredible place. It is famous for its vast open grasslands. Because the grass is so open, it is very easy to see the animals! The park has a lot of wildlife all year round, but it is most famous for the Great Migration. This is when millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes travel together in a giant circle to find fresh green grass. This migration happens every month of the year; you just need to know where to look! Depending on the month you visit, you might get to see this amazing wildlife show, which people call one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World.
You will eat a tasty picnic lunch out in the park. In the evening, you will arrive at your Luxury Tented Camp in Central Serengeti to eat dinner and sleep under the stars.

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
Waking up here feels like magic. You can lie in your comfortable bed and listen to the beautiful sounds of wild birds outside. It is the perfect way to start your safari day!
Today, you will explore the Central Serengeti, also called Seronera. This area is the true heart of the park. It is one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife at any time of the year. Many animals live here all year round, including Hippos and crocodiles in the water, Tall giraffes and elephants walking through the trees and Zebras and antelopes running across the grass
This area is also famous for big cats. You have an excellent chance to spot lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunting or resting in the shade. The landscape here is beautiful, with flat grasslands that go on forever and pretty acacia forests.
You will also visit the Seronera River. Its banks are covered with beautiful green palm trees and unique "sausage trees." The river is full of colorful birds, like large herons, storks, and eagles. Nearby, you will find the famous Retima Hippo Pool, where hundreds of hippos splash and play together.
You can choose how to spend your day:
- Two Game Drives: Go out for an early morning safari, come back to the camp for a hot lunch and a rest, and go out again in the late afternoon.
- Full Day Safari: Spend the whole day exploring the park and enjoy a fun picnic lunch out in the wild.

DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO TO KARATU/MTO WA MBU
After breakfast, you will wind your way towards Ngorongoro Crater, hopefully enjoying more wonder on the way! Ngorongoro Crater was formed around three million years ago when a volcano (thought to be larger than Kilimanjaro) exploded and collapsed in on itself. It has a diameter of approximately 19km (12 miles) and boasts one of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. Over 30,000 animals (including the endangered black rhino) call this unique place home. After a full afternoon inside the Crater, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.

DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK.
This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This is the final beautiful stop on your luxury safari adventure!
As soon as you enter the park, you will drive into a magical, deep green forest. The forest is full of water from underground, which helps giant, ancient trees grow. You will see massive mahogany trees and huge fig trees. This part of the park is always bright, green, and beautiful.
As you drive through the thick green forest, look closely to spot Large families of playful baboons, Elephants walking through the green leaves and Lions.
You will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature inside the park. After your final morning safari, your guide will drive you back. You can choose exactly where you want to be dropped off, such as Arusha Town (to continue your holiday), Arusha Airport (for local flights) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (for your flight back home)
